Your Data Rights

At Eyetabase, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information at any time.

Data Deletion Requests

If you would like to delete your account and associated data, please follow the appropriate process based on how you use our service:

General Data Deletion

For general data deletion requests, please email us at: eyetabase@gmail.com

Include the following information in your request:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Reason for deletion (optional)
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your data

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

Facebook Data Deletion

If you accessed our service through Facebook, you can also request data deletion through Facebook's standard process:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
  3. Find EyeTabase in your active apps
  4. Click "Remove" and confirm
  5. Alternatively, email us directly at eyetabase@gmail.com

We follow Facebook's data deletion guidelines and will process your request accordingly.

Google Data Deletion

If you accessed our service through Google, you can request data deletion through Google's standard process:

  1. Go to your Google Account settings
  2. Navigate to "Security" → "Third-party apps with account access"
  3. Find EyeTabase in the list
  4. Click "Remove Access"
  5. Alternatively, email us directly at eyetabase@gmail.com

We follow Google's data deletion guidelines and will process your request accordingly.

What Data We Delete

When you request data deletion, we will remove:

  • Your account information
  • Personal profile data
  • Submitted clinic information (if you were the original submitter)
  • Usage analytics associated with your account
  • Email communications

Note: Some data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining the integrity of our clinic database for public health purposes.

We retain certain data for legitimate business purposes:

  • Clinic information submitted to our public database (for public health purposes)
  • Analytics data in anonymized form
  • Legal compliance records
