Increased screen time may contribute to eye damage, leading many to seek corrective surgeries like LASIK or PRK, which can unfortunately result in corneal neuralgia—a chronic condition that remains largely unknown. Many patients mistake their symptoms for temporary dry eye irritation, not realizing they need specialized resources and support.
